THE IDEA

Light brings the materials together.

DESIGN FOCUS

Distributing tasks across three work walls while maintaining a close connection to the garden.

A pale palette gives the kitchen continuity, while two windows connect cooking and washing areas to the outdoors. The long island offers preparation space and side seating. Tall appliances and a coffee niche are integrated at the ends of the perimeter.

Project status
Design developed during the collaboration with Gintarini. According to Francisco Serrano Hess, construction took place after his departure; this page presents the design and does not document the final built result.
Role
Participation in kitchen design during his time at Gintarini.

MATERIAL / THE DESIGN

See it.
Feel it.

  • Greige fronts

    Pale joinery with understated lines.

  • Warm stone

    Mineral-looking worktops and flooring.

  • Natural timber

Woven stools and accessories as a counterpoint.

01

Two moments of light.

The rear window accompanies cooking, while the side window lights the sink. These openings interrupt the cabinets and connect the kitchen to greenery.

02

A longitudinal island.

The island follows the depth of the room. Seating is grouped along one side, leaving the approach end clear.

03

Continuity without monotony.

Stone, smooth fronts and timber share a soft palette. Material textures and joints add detail without strong contrasts.
