THE IDEA

A lighter way to store.

DESIGN FOCUS

Bringing visible storage and personal preparation together in a pale palette, with clearly defined modules.

Pale timber and linear lighting make the open modules feel light. Hanging, drawers and a shoe tower are arranged around a central island. A dressing table on the right extends the same system.

Project status
Design developed during the collaboration with Gintarini. According to Francisco Serrano Hess, construction took place after his departure; this page presents the design and does not document the final built result.
Role
Participation in residential joinery design during his time at Gintarini.

MATERIAL / THE DESIGN

See it.
Feel it.

  • Light timber

Subtle grain in a linen-toned finish.

  • Linear lighting

Lighting beneath shelves and in the ceiling.

  • Neutral textile

A pale rug for the central area.

01

One module, one function.

Hanging sections alternate with drawers and shelves. The shoe tower introduces a closer rhythm within the modular arrangement.

02

A place to get ready.

The dressing table shares the joinery's material and visual depth. The open space beneath distinguishes the use of its top.

03

Clarity throughout.

The pale palette reduces contrasts between surfaces. Shadows within niches and under-shelf lighting keep each compartment readable.

THE SKETCHBOOK / DRAWINGS AND PROCESS

What lies
behind the drawing.

A contemporary reading of the arrangement and volumes visible in the rendering. These diagrams were reconstructed for the portfolio; they are not the project's original drawings.
