THE IDEA

Getting dressed as a small ritual.

DESIGN FOCUS

Integrating clothing, accessories, a mirror and dressing table without losing the continuity of the joinery.

Dark timber, a full-length mirror and a side dressing table bring storage and personal preparation together. A soft rug and sculptural light accompany the central island. The project combines practical organization with a more intimate atmosphere.

Project status
Design developed during the collaboration with Gintarini. According to Francisco Serrano Hess, construction took place after his departure; this page presents the design and does not document the final built result.
Role
Participation in residential joinery design during his time at Gintarini.

MATERIAL / THE DESIGN

See it.
Feel it.

  • Dark timber

Open modules and continuous drawer fronts.

  • Soft textiles

A pink-toned rug defines the center.

  • Light and mirror

Side dressing table and tall mirror on the rear wall.

01

A mirror within the system.

A vertical reflective surface is integrated between the modules. Its height expands the sense of space and accompanies the selection of clothing.

02

The dressing table as part of the wardrobe.

The side counter leaves room to sit. Lights around the mirror distinguish this area from the storage modules.

03

A pause at the center.

The island offers a surface for arranging accessories. The rug and lamp bring a domestic scale to the central space.
